History

Built as the Morrissey & Stickney Block in 1882, now the Judson Block, was best known for being the former home of Judson Hardware from 1903 to 1996. Original commercial tenants included Mrs. J.S. Evans Music Store, Squier Jewelry, and a cigar manufactory. The second floor housed various attorney and doctor offices, while the third floor was used as boarding rooms. Later tenants include Wiseman’s Bicycle Shop (also sold stationery, books, and wallpaper,) Darling’s Camera, Doe & Yeo Clothing (later known as The Hub clothing store for men and boys,) Spoke & Gear Bike Shop, and Living Water Christian Resource & Heartwoods Furniture, and now Red Fox Market.
